The Balmes Family

Besides getting to do what I love for a living, a great perk to the job is meeting new people. I think it is such a joy to be able to share time with young families and help them capture a piece of their life. Yesterday was my first time meeting the Balmes family. They have the cutest, brown eyed boys. The three of them were so great together. The older boys loved hugging and holding their youngest brother, which definitely made for some beautiful shots. Here are just a few...

The Taylor Trio

Over this past year, I have gotten to know the great Sommer Taylor. We serve together every Wednesday night at our church. Along with Sommer were her two, sweet girls and her best friend. Sommer has done such a great job with her girls, because they are so kind and polite. So yesterday, we spent an hour at a near by park. We couldn't have asked for a prettier place. The sky was full of fluffy clouds, and this big green field was full of tiny yellow flowers. I just love when nature shines at its best. Here are a few of my favorites from our time out.

My newest products

http://teeniebeenies.etsy.com/ was so kind to custom make these great new baby props for me last week. I just wanted to give you a quick peek in case you were interested. Another dear friend was kind enough to let me borrow her adorable new baby girl as my model. These photos are of course just a small glimpse of these props.

This is two separate green pods. They can be used individually or together.

This hanging pod is the softest and furriest little bag. I think it looks like a little birds nest.

The Ussery Girls

A few weeks ago, I took photos of six month old Olivia. This weekend, I had the pleasure to photograph all three of the Ussery sisters. As you can see, they are quite the adorable trio in their matching dresses. What I really wish you could see in these pictures is their mom and dad. I just love that parents will do anything to get there kids to smile. Needless to say, it was a funny afternoon.

The Ronson Boys

Trying to photograph little boys on the run proves to be a challenge every time. Yet, there is something about their curiosity and joy that can only bring a smile to my face. Cole and Ben are quite the pair. Such lovable and sweet brothers.

Color in the Country

Some of you may already know, that I have a passion for rural photography. All of my childhood summers were spent in rural Alabama, so I just have this warm feeling when I see images I can relate to. I haven't really had the time to venture out and collect these images for awhile now, but I have caught the bug, and I am really looking forward to photographing new images over the summer for my collection. This past weekend I was visiting my Granny in Millry, Al. and I had my dad drive me around. After I got home, I noticed that all my images had such unique color. Here are a few images that I just love.
